Of course, things happen at the last minute, and we completely understand, but the sooner you let us know that you need to cancel, the better chance we have of getting another pet in to fill your spot.️

We have a strict five-minute late policy at NBV for two reasons:
It's for you and your pet. This way, you're not waiting in the lobby with other animals, and you're also not wasting time. You have a busy day, and we know that.
It's for our staff. We keep things running smoothly, not chaotically, so our staff knows exactly what to expect and when. If you feel you will be later than five minutes, we will ask that you reschedule or do a drop-off appointment (we can explain if you'd like to call the office to find out more).

Our no-show policy allows you 2 no-show appointments, and after that, we will request your records be sent to you or another animal hospital.
A no-show appointment has a full staff in place with no appointment, as well as other sick pets at home that could have otherwise been seen.
