Dr. Kula offers specialized care in small mammals known as "pocket pets" as well as exotics and birds including but not limited to: rabbits, guinea pigs, gerbils, chinchillas, hamsters, turtles/tortoises, frogs, lizards, bearded dragons, snakes, ducks, chickens, turkeys, sugar gliders, hedgehogs and pot-bellied pigs.

If your pet experiences a health issue during our normal business hours and it’s not a life-threatening emergency, please call the office at 845-252-1550.
If you’re calling after hours and need an emergency hospital, you can find a list of recommendations from Dr. Hess and our team.

Cancellations
If you need to cancel, please call us 24 hours ahead of time, if possible.
Of course, things happen and we understand, but this allows us the time to accommodate other clients if need be.
Late Policy
If you are late for your appointment, we may ask you to either drop off your pet so that we can examine them in between appointments (and then have you come back later on to pick them up), or we may ask you to reschedule.
The reason — if one person is late, it sets the rest of the day back and isn't fair to the other clients and their schedules.
